A few years ago a fellow worker asked me to keep an eye on the name
august and the Carl Rick. She said that some spell it Riek. so I
notice the name when it is around. And often lately have seen it
Rieke. I had been wondering if it is a variation. I have been spending
a fair amount of time browsing the area of Radenbeck and areas near in
Uelzen. so I would say you may still find them in Hannover Kingdom. I
wish i could tell you where I saw them, but cannot. But since i am
hunting for something that i saw with names Grothe,Schlicht and
Grimmel, Tippe, Jacob, Blank, Meier, I may run into it again.
I would suggest checking the areas of Riecklingen, if Rieck works.
