There is WWI draft registration card dated 12.9.1918 for:Herman Charles Riecke - geb. 26.2.1879 !
The card does not indicate birthplace however, card indicates that Herman is U.S. citizen due to fathers naturalization before registrants majority.
He is married and his wife is called Eleanor.

Immigration year vary. Based on census data Herman was either an infant or small child when he came to U.S.
Could not find on 1900 census - Incorrect name spelling likely. 1910 Census name is indexed : REEK and REIHE.
I could not yet find immigration ship data. Again, probobly incorrect name index data.

I thought Martin Feldhaus parents were Lucas & Adelheid Tobben-Feldhaus. I had thought siblings of Martin that survived to adulthood were Herman, Joseph, William and Anton.
I had thought this obituary pertained to Martin's mother.
FELDHAUS-Entered into rest on Thursday, Jan. 11, 1923 at 5 am. Mrs. Adelaide Feldhaus of 922 Mound Street dearly beloved mother of MARTIN, Herman, and Joseph Feldhaus, and our dear monther-in-law, grandmother and great-grand-mother, aged 84 years. I have found a few things that will assure you that you have the right
maiden name for Adelheid. In the 1900 census Adelheid said she arrived in
the U.S. In 1859.
On Castle Garden.org there is a shiplist (Ship Adler) of the Tobben
family. Adelheid is listed with a whole family, arriving to the USA in 1859:
