Hello Mr. Engelhorn, Many thanks for your information on the Riebels. The only information that was left to me
is that my great grandfather, John Riebel came to America via Le Harve and thence to New Orleans. He arrived
on the ship "Richard Morris, Jan. 19, 1854. His church affiliation was Lutheran.
He was quoted as coming from Gottramstein in Rhinebier, which I take to be Rhine Bayren. There is some information
that he was born in Ergenzinger, 1938, Karl Johann Riebel. I know nothing of his life or relatives in Germany.
