Hello,

From your comments on a post in 2002 - I have interest in searching for Seddlemeier / Seddlemeyer suranme in Stapelberg near Bramsche, Hannover, Germany.

Herman Heinrich Seddlemeyer born November 7, 1808 in Stapelberg, Hannover, Germany.
Herman came to U.S.A. in the middle 1830's. I believe he had a sister who came with him also when she was 18 years old.

Charlotte Seddlemeyer born about April 1817. She died April 10 1907 in Allen Co. Indiana, USA.

Herman Seddelmeyer fell from the rafters in St. Paul's Lutheran Church in downtown Fort Wayne, Indaiana in June 1846. He was building the church that was eventually completed in 1847.
Death Record at St. Paul's Church, Downtown Fort Wayne, IN
Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery on Road behind Target store at Southtown Mall, Fort Wayne, IN Cemetery lot Section 3-7
Age when he died: 37 years, 7 months, 9 days

??Sisters: Louise Seddelmeyer, who married H. Schroder
Maria Seddelmeyer,
Unknown if related ?

John Seddelmeyer 1840 Census Wabash Co. Indiana page 4; he was a pastor who moved to at least two other places in IN; I found a family history of him in Knox Co. IN - 977.201 K77kn

Due to only finding Stapelburg near Wernigrode in Sachsen- Anhalt on a map I assumed I had been given the wrong spelling.

Is there a Lutheran Church in Hesepe, Germany?

Thank you for your post and your time.
