I am looking for references to research family history and local culture in and around Qualkau, Liegnitz, Breslau and Brieg from 1850 to 1925. I can make out most German records; have no ability with Polish records. Prefer someone with some English capability if possible.

As this is something new for me, I am also seeking information on what typical costs are for such help?

Hello Bill,
Ev.-Lutheran parish for Qualkau was Zobten am Berge.
Qualkau had an own Standesamt (Civil Registration Office).
As you probably know, both the CRO records of Qualkau and the Ev. records of Zobten am Berge were burnt in Breslau 1945.
Regarding the surnames MENDE, STEINBRICH, HESS, ROESSLER, WEDEMEIR and SCHMIDT, you should kindly give us for each the respective location and time frame.
