In the year 2007 we went to Wroclaw for research. We arrived on a holiday weekend thus we were a day late in finding where all research is held. We did not find out until the day before we were to leave Wroclaw for Paczkow that we could go to the Catholic Dioceses for research. I had prepared a list prior to going to Poland and had it in English as well as Polish. Upon arrival to the building I awaited outside. When the Priest came he took me in with him and I sat in the front near the door until they sent a young nun that spoke some English. She took my list and brought me church books then led us down several halls to a study room with long tables to use. I could not use my camera but could make notes. We had such a short time that we only were able to do those books and when we took them back to her I was so surprised as well as disappointed. She had a large stack of books for me to view. I explained we had to leave as our ride would be waiting on us to take us to another city. She was so sweet and helpful.
One should never ever forget to check there as it is a plethora of information.
I just wish one of the nuns would/could do research for us in lieu of a generous donation to the church.
Kind regards,

Patricia,
Most of what is in the Catholic Diocese in Wroclaw has been filmed by the
Mormons. Did you check the website for the locations that you didn't have
time to do while there? When I was there, I purchased Father Pater's book
if you need any information from this. The website is www.familysearch.org
and then the Library tab and the bottom item on the pull-down tab "Family
History Library Catalog".
