I am getting "bombarded" with emails all the time asking for HELP in
searching
for your relatives.
Our databases and mailing lists are expanding continuously and we are
signing up
new subscribers all the time.
Unfortunately, with now a few thousand subscribers, I am physically
unable to respond
to your email the way I wished I could.
I am also unable to help you in your search for your ancestors, however,
here are a few
tips to help you in your search.
First of all, you should join one ( or all) of our mailing lists. Our
subscribers are very
knowledgeable and extremely helpful and have an answer to almost every
question..
http://www.saxonyroots.com/
Our databases are visited by thousands of visitors every month and it
would be a good
helpful "advertising board" for entering your data into them.
Just go to Saxonyroots.com and use the form
to add your data.
Another way would be to visit our German counterpart with lots of
additional databases: genealogy.net - the german genealogy network and
millions of records.
Or to search many of them at once use the "Meta search":
http://meta.genealogy.net/
Unfortunately, many of their databases are still only in the Germany
language, but if you would
join our "German English- speaking" mailing list:
http://list.genealogy.net/mailman/listinfo/genealogy.net-users-en
you could place your queries in your native language and maybe, if we
are getting strong enough
we could convince the "German's " to accelerate the changeover to make
their websites more
bi-lingual.
Thanks for listening and have a very happy 4th of July LOOOONG weekend..
All the best,
Wolf
