Reinsdorf Germany in1842

Hello,

I need help in locating where my ancestors lived in 1842 before they left for
the U.S.
I know all the information I have is that they lived In Reinsdorf germany in
1842 but I can't seem to find a place on the map that exactly states the name
Reinsdorf. I have been told sachen-anhalt might be a close proximity or
similar in area, can you please give me any information pertaining to where I
can find it or what is it called today?

maybe you have luck - i come from wittenberg in sachsen/anhalt and reinsdorf is
a place 2 kilometers from it. My wife came from reinsdorf. It is a village with
imean 3- 5 thousend inhabitents.
