Reinhardt; Urach; Cleveland 1822-1888

Hello fellow genealogists. I have been searching off and on for some time
for my ggrandfather Johann David Reinhardt. He was born in Urach on 3/3/1822,
married in Trinity Lutheran, Cleveland on 10/7/1863 and died in Cleveland on
2/1/1888 and was buried in Woodlawn Cemetery. I would like to connect to his
family in Germany if possible but also would like to know if he had any
siblings who also immigrated to America. There are not many Johann David
Reinhardts but I have not been able to find any immigration information.
Also his name is usually spelled wrong whenever I do find a public record
like the census. Anyone with information or ideas would be appreciated.

Hallo fellow genealogist,
hallo David,

this is a very difficult question you ask and the answer might be even
more difficult.
In the region named: "Schaebische Alb" it lays south of Stuttgart, there
live a lot of REINHARDT. Look at the map and youll find: Tuebingen,
Reutlingen, Haigerloch, Burladingen, Gammertingen, Winterlingen,
Sigmaringen Tuttlingen, etc.
To the east of these places there is URACH, a very old and historic
town.

The problem is, that the REINHARDT-family is a very large gypsy-family.
Gypsys life theire live with roules which are different from that the
people live around them. Many of them are not able to read nor to write.
Some of them where great musicians such as "Django Reinhardt", he played
the violine.
Gypsy talk in a different language, their own language "Romanes", you
know, they talk but not write!
Gypsys never where acceptet by the inhabitans of this region no
somewhere else in the country. Farmers dont like them, authoryties
dont like them, policeman dont like them. So gypsys are allways
refrugees in there own contry.

So you can imagine that there are very few documents about gypsy. That
is YOUR problem now if you look for a REINHARDT born in the town of
URACH in *03.03.1822.

I can understand very well that theese people disapear fome their home
to find freedom and work and a new life in the new world - USA.

Youll find a book, written in german (swaebian dialekt) dealing whith
LOLO REINARDTs life an his famyli:
