Reick Family

August Reick was born in Adamsdorf according to
previous family researchers but cannot find birth or
marriage records. He immigrated to America with his
wife Augusta in October 1885.
I found Adamsdorf on the Mecklenburg Plueckhahn Church
Record website but do not know how to further my
search. "Peckatel AG Penzlin, Sch" shows Adamsdorf
with several other towns.
August and Augusta were married in about 1849. Her
family name was Reissman.
Where can I go now for help--I would like copies of
any marriage/ birth / christening records that are
available---or newspaper notices.
I am a great granddaughter.

I checked the LDS online catalogue and found 3 microfilms listed for the Lutheran church in Peckatel AG Penzlin - they are #69431 - 69433. Following is the link to the LDS online catalogue:

Click on the "Film/Fiche Search" and type in 1 of the film numbers. It will then bring up the name of that record. Click on the name and it will bring up a description of that record. Click on the bar "View Film Notes" and it will show you the dates for each of the 3 films. You can then decide which film you want to order at your local LDS branch library. Hope this helps.
