Having lived in the area of Rehburg, I can tell you that neither Rehburg or
Schneeren are of any size. You will probably do some good if you contact the
Kirchenamt in Hannover, if I remember correctly its address is Hildesheimer
Strasse. I don't have the address but you can probably find it either in the
German Telephone Directory or try google.com to locate it. To try to get
information from the pastor in Rehburg may be difficult, as there usually is
only one person who may even have a couple of churches to oversee and the
staff also is limited and overworked. I haven't looked for information in
LDS, but that would be worth a try. I'm not sure if the Kirchenamt Blumenau
reached that far, Loccum may have been the Amt which included Rehburg as the
cloister is there(since 1163), that is where I lived for 8 years and no, not
since 1163. My research just has not gone to that area, mine is closer in
toward Hannover and in Hannover.

It is too bad I did not know you when you lived there. It looks like a nice
area with the Steinhunder Meer. I have a few postcards from the area and a
