Hallo
I learned to read the old German handscript the easy way. I transcribed the
birth/baptismal records of St. Georgen kath. Kirche in Freiburg for the
first quarter of the 1800s. The pastor had entered the surnames of the
principals in plain roman letters; it was my Rosetta stone.
