by a cousin of mine. It's not necessarily
documented -- more like draft material lifted from
the rest of us Hillmans. Don't believe everything
you see on the web.
About the Meyerholz books -- a friend in Germany
has gone to the national library and taken notes
from Volume I on a related Martfeld family, the
Brinkmanns. He says that the Hillmanns I am
looking for are in Volume II. Several out-of-print
bookstores offer Volume I but I have not yet found
a source for Volume II. My friend says it is in
the national library in Hamburg.
