Fr. Maurie --

I have a possible connection for you. Anna Margaretha Bruns (b 12
Dec 1735, d 12 Oct 1816) Daughter of Joan (Johann Theodor) Brunsz (b 3 Feb
1681 (Oythe)d 1 Mar 1755 (Holzhausen)) and Marie Elisabeth Cloppenburg (b ?,
d 30 Nov 1748 (Holzhausen)Anna's parents were married 18 Nov 1732 in Oythe.

Is this the correct timeframe and location? (both Oythe & Holzhausen are in
the area around Vechta.)

Frank Bruns

Fr. Maurie,

I have many generations of Krogmans. The family tree was compiled by a
cousin to my grandmother Krogman. They were from Oythe, Oldenburg in
the 1700s and 1800s, but at some point in time they came from Lohne,
Oldenburg. His records go back to 1498, but unfortunately he did not
record locations. I have verified a few of the names and dates and they
are accurate. I believe the whole of the data has a high degree of
accuracy.

I can link my Krogmanns with the Krogmanns found on the following
website.
http://home.gci.net/~ams1/genealo/krogm001.htm#t1
That is how I determined my Krogmanns had roots in Lohne.

I will be out of the country starting tomorrow for two weeks. Do write
and I will get back to you when I return home.
