Dear Andi,
Norddrebber is a village in the church parish Gilten. The next >>city<< is
Nienburg (832 200 inhabitants), 26 km / 16 miles to the west.
In 1825 at Norddrebber there were 31 households and 221 souls, then the
province was the Fuerstentum (principality) Calenberg within
the Koenigreich (kingdom) Hannover. The kingdom of Hannover 12 Oct. 1814
through 23 August 1866 became the Prussian province of
Hannover after the annexation. On 23 August 1946 the former province of
Hannover, together with Oldenburg and Schaumburg-Lippe, was
made to the federal state Niedersachsen (Lower Saxony).
1803 - 1815 French troops occupied northern Germany.
Since 1714 there was a common ruler for the duchy Brunswick-Lunenburgh and
the kingdom of England from the Welfen (Guelph) family:
George I 1714 - 1727
George II 1727 - 1760
George III 1760 - 1801
George III. King of Great Britain and Ireland König v. Hannover (born
4.6.1738, London-died 29.1.1820, Windsor)
Kurfürst v. Hannover (25.10.1760-29.1.1820) (prince elect)
König v. Hannover (12.8/10.1814/5-29.1.1820)

Princ of Wales (1751-25.10.1760)
Duke of Edinburgh (20.3.1751-1760)
George IV 1820 - 1830

in Hannover succeeded

Britain (born 5.6.1771, died London-18.11.1851, Hannover/Herrenhausen)
König v. Hannover (20.6.1837-18.11.1851)
Duke of Cumberland (24.4.1799-18.11.1851)
(younger brother of George IV and William IV and of Edward, duke of Kent,
Victoria s father)
as the German rules of succession would not allow a wife on the throne
in England succeeded queen Victoria 1837 - 1901
in Hannover followed Ernst August s son
Georg V. König v. Hannover 2nd Duke of Cumberland Prince of Great Britain
and Ireland Herzog zu Braunschweig u. Lüneburg
born 27.5.1819, Berlin
died 12.6.1878, Paris
Since 1302 the county Woelpe was part of the Guelph countries, when the
Lunenburgh duke Otto the Severe had bought it for 650 marks Bremen silver
from count Otto von Woelpe. That county had been bordering Nienburg to the
east and measured about 40 square miles. These counts were
first mentioned in 1120.
Osthoff born 10/4/1876 in the Federal Republic of Osnabrusck Germany
Osnabrueck in 1876 was a city and a district in the Prussian province of
Hannover. The Bundesrepublik Deutschland (Federal Republic of Germany) was
constituted on the 7th of September 1949.
Mecklenburg-Schwerin a grandduchy 1815 - 1918, there is no place Breze, my
best guess is Bretzin,
Kracht, there are lots of, all over Germany,
Bierhalfer, I guess there is a spelling twister, there is no such name found
in Germany, perhaps Bierhals or Bierhalter
Hellermeier of Werster, perhaps Wersche, church parish
Bissendorf/Achelriede, east of Osnabrueck city.
Hopefully you can make something out of my comments
Greetings
Falk (Liebezeit)
