My family came from Mecklenburg-Schwerin and I have learned lots of
ways to find people, so would be glad to help.
Do you have any ship information, or found them in the Germans To America Series? Do you know what port they came out of?
Have you found the town Blangenhagen? I see a Blankenhagen in Mecklenburg-Schwerin,
and near Ribnitz. Where did you get the town, what document, can you email a copy
of this?

Some of my "Tree" came from Mecklenburg-Schwerin as well. To tie it down a
bit more, they came from Genusdorf, & Ganzlin near Plan. I have Frederick
Carl Joachim Leims & Wilhelmine Dorthea Christiane Pluckhahn were both
confirmed in the Evangelical Lutheran Church. Frederick's father was Joachim
Leims and Wilhelmina's father, Johann Pluckhahn.
Not much else is known except they married May 11, 1853 in Davenport, Scott,
Iowa.
Anything you can suggest would be most appreciated.

Would you be able to help us find Carl Voss relatives from the
Mecklenburg-Schwerin area?
Carl Voss and his brother Ernst came to America in 1861(found in Germans
to America)
Carl was born 15/9/1833...I can send more information if you think you can
help.
We are coming to Poland and Germany in August and would like to look up as
much as we can.
