I visited today the archive in Vechta and checked the date of birth of your Meyer, but I coulnd't find in Vechta church book.
Therfore I checked the other parishes around Vechta and found this:
Johann Henrich Meyer, born 3.Dec.1844 in Lutten, parents: Franz Anton Meyer and Elisabeth Brand, by (farmer) Dölting
Witnesses: Joann Henrich Themann and Maria Katharina Kohl
The parish of Lutten is close to Vechta, today a part of the small town Goldenstedt, Vechta county (www.goldenstedt.de)
