Probobly of no help to you but wanted to tell you that when I was a child (of St. Louis County, Mo.)
My best friend first name was Helen Monsell. I am unsure how they spelled the surname, my spelling is by phonetic sound. I think her dad's name might have been Fred. I know she had an Aunt that was called Nola. Our backyards were caddy corner to each other. This would be circa 1960's. My mom was pretty good friends with her mom. I bet she might remember more of them.
