             Does anyone know the name of the Duke of Mecklenburg after the

French Revolution? I have been told that my great, great, great grandfather
was a tutor for the children of the Duke. His name was Latour, and he and
his father fled to Schwerin from France during the Reign of Terror. Would
this tutor be listed on census reports along with the Duke's family? I
cannot get a lead on the Latour family.
