A few years back I looked at the Wodegk church books -- they are readily available from LDS and contain extensive family records, including births, death marriages, etc. I'd recommend that you get the microfilm roll and look through that for your Wilhelm... you most likely will find him.
I have a few Woldegk film pages copies here somewhere and since Krueger in Mecklenburg is a family name of mine I may have copied some info. from there. (I was actually looking for Hintz at the time, a family I found not in "Woldegk" but in "Woedtke", thanks to someone else's superior reading of German script.
