The SWINX USER Group is not a chat group in the sense that you have
on-the-spot responses. Rather, it is a list to which everyone can contribute
and those who see something familiar or have answers to your questions will
usually respond. One nice thing is that one can often ask someone who lives
close to the archives to go and research them on a commute or even a business
trip. A good contact for a name repository has been William van Pelt
(w.van.pelt@hccnet.nl) but what you asked for is GEN-BENELUX-L@rootsweb.com
(try it first) but if you decide to write the former give him my regards and
tell him I will be in touch soon. By the way, English only is not a problem.
There is another version of (swinx-users@egroups.com [Swinx gebruikers]) but
they will have to tell you the procedure of joining (free of charge and you
get all the messages). Feel free to contact me with questions although I
