I am tracing KAPERNICKS all around the world for the purposes of preparing a
website.
My branch (3 brothers) came from Stendel East Prussia ( I believe East
Prussia there is a little confusion on that) and emigrated to Australia
between 1880 and 1888. I have come across forms of the name Mecklenburg
-Schwerin, Mecklenburg- Strelitz, Pomerania, West Prussia, East Prussia,
England, Canada, Australia and U.S.A and now in numerous areas around
present day Germany. The three brothers who emigrated to Australia were
Wilhelm Friedrich, Carl Friedrich Wilhelm, and Hermann Friedrich Wilhelm my
grandfather.
