Dear Ruby!
Kaninchenberge is a little place near the old border to the Bishopric
(F�rstbistum), the county of Rietberg and the County of Lippe. The
Lordship of Boke was a part of the Bishopric Paderborn, last is called
Hochstift Paderborn to day .
The free seat is well known in our district. There near an Inn to day
you can find the stone with the date of 1757 and 1813 and the weapons. A
picture of this stone you can find in the book of Josef Th�nsmeyer, Das
Lippeamt Boke,1968, pg. 350. In this book you will find some other
informations about the history of the villages around.
