I would like to find out more about my Jacobsohn ancestors who lived in Ludwigslust. The last record I have for them was when they were listed in the 1900 Mecklenburg census as Anselm 50, Heinriette 52 and Auguste 41. Anselm is listed as married but I don't know who he was married to or whether he had any children. The family were Jewish. I have not been able to find any information after this date.
Any suggestions as to where I could find out more would be welcome.

perhaps it could help.
If you ask google for Ludwigslust, there is as result the address of the
homepage of the City Ludwigslust. It is first noticed in an official
document in the 13th Century. You can choose the langugage and can watch the
page in English. And so you can find a way to connect the registry office in
the townhall. Since 1875 ( in large Cities, sometimes earlier) Birth,
wedding and Death, also if someone come from another place, to settle down.
