I have recently read that Berlin became a haven for many Huguenot families.
In fact, the French church at the Gendarmenmarkt dates from that time. You
might try the Berlin list, and check Berlin phonebooks online. I regret
that I do not have the URLs immediately handy, but I will try to remember
