I have looked in my dictionary and found that Louis and Ludovic and also the
Welsh name Lewis are the same / interchangeable - see below.

Louis is of French origins. It's earliest form was Clodevechus taken from
the Germanic Hludowig - which meant "famous + war".

Ludovic(k) = Lodowic. See "Hludowig".

Yes, Ludovici/Ludovic is louis. I think Lucas relates to Luke.
