My Sabine Timmermann/Duemermann didn't emigrate. She married Joseph Reinhold
in a neighbouring village/town and stayed in Germany. I was just thinking
that if you were to find out which place (within the kingdom of Hanover) she
came from and it was the same as my Sabina, then perhaps we could look for
the same common ancestors.
Like you, I'm grasping at straws... But don't give up... there are great
contacts out there. One contact I made a couple of years ago or so led me to
find a distant cousin who had a family chronic dating back to 1530; and who
was kind enough to make me a copy.
Did you check the mormons?
