Dear Armin,
How old should your George Hattorf be in 1900 or 1910? Would he still be
living in 1920? I'll try search H.Q. online census.
I think can do a given name & locality search....but would need to narrow
down the George's a bit, age would help.
Dear Barbie
Yes i have a George Hattorf in the 1900 census but i need him in the 1880
cause there he is married since 6 years and we should see the number of children
he had and the names. Once again all datas i have about him:
Census 1850 New York Kings Brooklyn
Frederick A. Haltorf (Hattorf) 35 years
Julia Hattorf 31 years
Julia T. Hattorf 7 years
George E. Hattorf 5 years
Julia S. Hattorf 3 years
Nothing in 1860
in 1862 his military service
George Edward Hattorf enlisted 26. May 1862
Mustered out 12 september 1862 Brooklyn New York
Nothing in 1870
Nothing in 1880
In 1890 only an adress in the city directory
In 1900 census:
George Hattorf, head, born Nov 1848 ??? (George E in 1850 census is born
1845)
Jennie Hattorf, wife, born 1849
George Hattorf, son, born Dez 1877
August Hattorf, son born Oct 1879
Fredrick Hattorf, son, born Mar 1882
Married since 26 years (would be 1874) having 6?? children 3 children living
with the family
In 1910 census:
Georger Hatorf, boarder born about 1845 in NY
NO FAMILY with him???
In 1911 George E. Hattorf died 17 Mar 1911, Cypress Hills National Cemetery
I tried hard to find any of that persons in the 1910 census whats difficult
cause in 1910 are not all names linked only the head of household nothing
about one of those persons in the 1920 census too!!!!!
Very strange
Ok thanks for all the help i got from the list
Have a fine sunday
Armin
