Dear JB, All records were transcribed and translated. To send the same researcher to Hannover or Friedland would be too expensive. So he got me back 2 generations to my gggranfather, who was AREND Heinrich Wilhelm Fischer Only record he found was the removal record from the son leaving HANNOVER . I NEED SOMEONE TO FIND THE RECORDS ON AHWF in Friedland to continue the line. Adele

Understood now. Go back to my first response to your query. Five such Niedersachsen researchers were cited there. All of them are quite capable. Perhaps inquire with a few to see if they can help, and what they might charge based on what you have.
Other posters here at H-L may have additional ideas, as I have no specific knowledge of Friedland area resources myself.

Hello Adele and JB,
don't know what "AHWF" means, nor do I have special contacts into the Friedland region, but every parish office, which is in possession of the original parishbooks gives usually infor-mations or does know a nearby researcher. They usually also know, if there is already done the work in a general form of making a "Ortsfamilienbuch" out of the parish-book data. So it is always worth a trial to write to the "Kirchenbuchamt" of the church in greater towns or simply to the parish-office, "Kirchengemeindebüro" in villages. Of course they also take fees as professional researchers do, but there will be probably no costs for travelling far. One should add in any case the request for being informed first about probable costs. They are usually about 30,-Euro an hour. A short look-up for a single entry might be done in a quarter of an hour. But everyone knows too how long "a single short look" into a parish-book might last in the end. So short, but concrete information about what is the query exactly always will be helpful. Sometimes the local priest will be unwilling to spend his time for genealogical researches because of having another charge for the sake of souls. At last the greatest evil can happen, is to get no reply. I have made the experiences that a lot of parishes are already very good prepared to genealogical queries and in the end very helpful. The adresses of the different parishes are easy to find under www.telefonbuch.de giving in the place-name and afterwards "Kirche".
Hope the professional researchers pardon me for showing this way, but as far as I know they all don't have the time for all the work to be done. In any case the local LDS-centre will be the less expensive way to get the wanted informations out of parish-books.

Excellent addition HP. I'm in full agreement. As long as the good folks at LDS copied the records, that is always the first line of attack. Personal inquires to civil and church authorities (as applicable) should follow. When all else grows cold, the pros can be called in, only here one must tread judiciously, for obvious reasons.
