Barbara; This is an old e-mail that I found and don't know if I wrote you.
The Buehne's were from the little settlement of Russel, near Ankum and came
to Clinton County Illinois about 1840/41 and the oldest girl married in
Germantown Feb. 1842? (could be a little off). The father dies soon
afterward and the mother dies in 1847. I have been to the farm, but those
people are not related to us even if their name is Buehne. The father's
birth name was Hinkamp. Pat Huck
