You probably refer to Gie�h�bel im Adlergebirge, today Olesnice v Orlickych
horach in the Czech Republic.
This town, whose inhabitants were mostly german speaking up to the WW2, is
very close to the bohemian/silesian (czech/polish) border and very well
connected to (Bad)Reinerz (to the east) and Lewin/Hummelstadt (to the north)
in Silesia/Poland. People of both sides of the border were very friendly and
had a lot of social, cultural and economic contacts.

My ancestors (Niklitschek and Klar) came from Gie�h�bel to Chile in 1855 and
had relatives in Lewin and Reinerz.
