Thanks for your response; just as you suspected, one of the papers I
had, (Permission to Emigrate); when translated from German, gave the location
& Region He was from. I also had a Petition & Naturalization paper for him in
the USA. This with other M-L members helping me, is fast providing me with
links to my GGGrandFather. One great organization...Thanks
