Dear Mrs. Bonita Hilmer.-
Thanks for your introduction. I learned that you search for Hilmer and
Hillmer, but you didnt state in which country and or State and in which time
period.
My experience showed that there is a tremendous number of Hilmer and or
Hillmers, so that you have to go a bit more into details before any help may
eventually be available.
I intended to pass on to you an email address, but searching for it, I found
out, that you are doing that homepage I was thinking about, the HILMER-L
WEBSIDE: _http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~hillmer/_

Ask Deb Hilmer Jahn, I emailed her quite a few pages of Hilmer from the
Duchy of Oldenburg.

All of my ancestors are from Lower Saxony originally but they seemed to
travel to find farm land. The HILLMER line is around Eimke, Wichtenbeck,
Hanstedt I, Gerdau, Bargfeld, Uelzen. The HILMER line is earlier and in
Stadorf.
