do you meant "Niedersteine"? It's north-west of Glatz. BITTNER isn't a rare
name there.
You can search for Josef BITTNER in Niedersteine at the Film No. 1049685 (e.
g. baptisms 1709-1747) which you can order by the Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saints ("Mormons"). I think the baptism is written in German. I'm
sure that somebody of this church can help you with reading it.
