Hallo Herr Prof. Dr. Hans-Dietrich Gronau,
1900 in Neustrelitz sssig.
Einige waren beim Groherzog eingestellt,
als Kammerschreiber, Hoftrompeter, 2 Generationen Mundschenk.
Ich habe alle Akten vom Frstenhaus.
Nochmals vielen Dank fr Ihre Hilfe.

Hello Katharina Hines;
Unfortunately for me I cannot read your German language messages about Franz
Schubert Bcher.
If you do purchase the book or books, does the book list marriages in the
Strelitz area?
My 3rd gr. grandfather, Joachim Ernst Schnell was born 16 July 1759 in
Frstensee, and his father was Christian Schnell. Frstensee is a little
east of Strelitz. I can not find a marriage record for Christian Schnell
prior to 1759 in the Alt Strelitz Church books. I did find a marriage
record for a Christian Schnell in the Alt Strelitz Church books on 28th
August 1767. I do not know for sure if this is the same Christian Schnell
as my 4th gr. grandfather and his second marriage. Also, I can not make out
the spelling of the wife in this marriage. It appears to be Sewckow.
If you do purchase the books, I would very much appreciate your looking to
see if these marriages are in records.
Thank you for your consideration,
Roy Schnell

Hello Roy,
your mail is of great interest for me and I have some info for you:
I am looking in that area for any entry of the family SEVEKOW / SAEFKOW / .....
and I know that entry in the records:
marriage of Christian Schnell and Maria Catharina Sevekow in Fuerstensee at 28
August 1767
Christian Schell was a blacksmith in Fuerstensee.
Maria Catharina was born at 28 Sept. 1741 in Feldberg, her father was Martin
Sevekow. I have further data on that family because Martin is one of my
g...fathers.
Martin Sevekow moved (with his children) 1765/1766 from Feldberg to Fuerstensee
because he leased the rights for fishing on the Fuerstensee for 20 years from
the Mecklenburg-Strelitz government. It seems that his daugther Maria Catharina
found a partner in Fuerstensse quiet soon.
Since I have not searched for the Schnell family I have no further infos up to
now about Christian Schnell and this Schell/Sevekow family or other mariages of
Christian but I would be lucky to get some.
