My grandfather Karol Wolf was in the military (I believe Austrian) 1910-1920.
Which archives should I address this matter to? He mat and married my
Grandmother in Bochnia Galicie. Any help would be sincerely appreciated.

Yesterday is history. For us it is a mystery.
Here is a link to a german genealogy server. You will find there different
adresses in Austria.

You can try to contact any of them. In normal cases the staff in these
archives know were you find what you are searching.
Good Luck

Rita,
this area is not in the topic region of this list. This is Bosnia and Galicia in the former
Austro-Hungarian Empire.

If you search for Austrian Militry information it is the correct link. I
think it is a good idea to start there. Maybe the military data you will
obain includes any information about that marrige.
Best Regards

Here is also a other link. Try this to obtain some information about the
aother regions.

Because Military service was mandatory in the
Austro-Hungarian Empire, my husbands
grandfather would have had to enlist the Fall of
year before he turned 21, (1877). He lived near
Ternopil, Galicia. (Now is in Ukraine, once belonged
to Poland)
I wrote to the Austrian Archives and asked them
for information on this.
They responded, saying that once Poland was
re-formed, archives after 1850 were given to
Poland. They also said, with the Russians
coming through Poland in the War, that very little of the
archives existed any more.
