I am interested in genealogy information on my mother's lineage. Information
known includes:
Carl Rappuhn Sr born about 1800 in Prussia and he married about 1824 in
Prussia (?) to M. Kühn. Children included:
1- Gottfried Rappuhn born 1826 in Schnakeinen, Kreutzburg, East Prussia and
he died October 20, 1898 on the railroad train near Fessenden, North Dakota
USA. He married Justina Pitsch who was born 1828 in Moritten, Creutzburg,
East Prussia and died in Brooklyn, New York on October 30, 1916. This is my
genealogical line.
2- Carl Rappuhn Jr born about 1830 in Prussia and he married Johanna Klein.
Carl Jr died after August 12, 1910.
3- August Rappuhn born July 1, 1836 in Worlack, Schoeneroise, Landsberg, East
Prussia and he died April 18, 1911 in Lodi, San Joaquin County, California
USA. He married in 1861 in Prussia Charlottia Bertha Schroeder. She was born
Oct 18, 1841 in Christiankehmen, East Prussia and died March 25, 1905 in
Lodi, San Joaquin County, California USA. Her mother's maiden name was
Henriette Kirschlatis and father was Gottlieb Schrader or Schroeder.
