They were married in St. Nikolai Church, Kiel, 5 July 1873. They had three children born in Kiel: Ernst Gustav Friedrich Gottlieb (1874), fate unknown; Otto Franz Peter (1875) and Carl Paul Richard (1877), both of whom emigrated to Australia in the mid-1890s. Otto was born at his parents’ then domicile at Sophienblatt No. 44, Kiel. Carl was born at his parents’ then domicile at Ringstrasse No. 81, Kiel. Ernst Julius’s occupation in Kiel is recorded as machine operator.
I am also seeking to learn the origin and fate of Ernst Julius’s father Johann Gottlieb RAEDLER (date and place of birth unknown), a shoemaker, who married Anne Luise Elizabeth BEUTLER in Wirsitz, Posen, 19 May 1839. Johann Gottlieb appears to have been living in Kiel in 1874.
