Questions about 1880 Military Paper

I've just started tracing my ancestors. Surnames include Ziegenhagen,
Kloehne (Kloene, Klone), Vollmer (Folmer). So far I have focused on
learning geography and history. I find I need clarification on the meaning
of information contained on a Military Record I have.

This is a copy of paper that my great grandfather had. Does the reference
to Schubin following his birthdate mean that he was born in Schubin or that
his 1880 registered location is recorded in Schubin. Can anyone interpret
the handwritten portion which I have copied from the document? I can only
read parts of it.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
