When we have located the birth/baptism/confirmation record for Eleanore aka
Klärchen we might solve the mystery.
As for my g grandfather, Johannes aka Gustav. We do have a record of his
birth/baptism from the church in Singlis, Hessen. I have not yet found a record
of his confirmation That my show another name. A number of my German
ancestors appear in confirmation records with an additional name from those
recorded in their baptism.
