Hello Pete,

I just took a look on my GFF CD. Included on this CD there is an appendix named (I try to translate): "Data about 4563 families of the deanship of Feuchtwangen in the 16th and 17th centuries". There lots of PROBST (and one ROESSLER) can be found. But only in the mentioned centuries. That means that at least for the moment they are too early for you, but surely you'll find the connections to them when proceeding in your research. Sorry, I am not allowed to pass those data to you (licence agreement), but you may ask for the CD at

www.gf-franken.de .

The advantage will be that you can receive a new one (mine is of 2004).

Good luck with your German ancestors
Peter (Hoffmann)
