I do not know the order of this priest, however I bring up only as a note that anyone who has a 'religious' in their family that they contact the main office of the order for information. In most cases their archives will have very good pieces of information about the family and other background. I was fortunate to gain not only information but a name of another researcher who happened to write at exactly the same time to the Jesuits. A WONDERFUL and QUICK THINKING archivist relayed our two names and we were able tolink our two families..... in addition, I found that my RELIGIOUS person had an older sister who had died so early in life that my oldsters did not even know of her. Even if an order has folded, their records are likely with the order that allowed the remaining few to remain with them......
