I am new to this list and am trying to find out about Joachim Pries married to Sophie Pries who emigrated to the US on 26 Oct 1884. They were my great-grandparents. He was from Drolitz, Mecklenburg. I would sincerely appreciate any information.
Catherine Pries from Homewood, IL (near Chicago), US
Hello Catherine,
I don't know if this will be important for you. I have also PRIES in my
family tree. But they came from Kiel in Schleswig-Holstein and they went to
Berlin at the end of the 19th century.
If you are interested in more details I will send you.
Greetings from Germany
Christa (Blum)
