Hi Barb,

I'm researching Hollinger from Oberohmbach.

Richard

Hi Barb,

Where do your Hoffman-ancestors come from? Have you got any more details
about them? Maybe I can help.

Sincerely

Michaela Hoffmann

Hi Barb,

HI:
     My Hollingers:
The earliest I have is Samuel Hollinger, resident of Schoeneberg
(1811), wife Maria Elizabeth Katarina Zimmer.
One of their sons George married (1st wife) Charolotta Troutman from
Obermisau (sp?). 2nd wife Maria Elizabeth Schneider,( Feb. 17, 1833) Their
son Phillip Hollinger married Elizabeth Hoffman about 1855 somewhere in
North America.
I th;;ink George and Charlotte lived in Obermisau becau;se on his second
marriage certificate it says he was a resident of Obermisau.
   Any relationship to your line.
  Barb

There are so many Philips and Georges in this line I get mixed up.

Hi Barbara
Georg Balthasar Hollinger was born June 13. 1800 at Eichelscheider Hof (
Churchrecord Waldmohr )
Son of Samuel Hollinger born Nov. 10. 1755 at Krottelbacher Hof / died May
23. 1831 at Schnenberg
and
Catharina Elisabetha Zimmer born Feb. 7. 1766 at Oberohmbach / died Jul. 22.
1822 at Schnenberg
married June 13. 1786 at Oberohmbach

Hi Michael:
   My Hoffmans come from Obermiesau
Phillip Hoffman, son of Theobald Hoffman and Catharine Leser married
Elizabeth Ohlinger Nov. 28, 1830., daughter of Ludwig Ohlinger and Catharina
Molter. Their daughter Catherine (1835) married Phillip Hollinger , my
great grandparents
does any of this connect up with your lines.
     Barbara Moore

Hello Barb,
Thanks for the resonse and info.

You are right, the Hollingers are not easy to track.
The chances that there is a relationship between your Samuel Hollinger and my
Hollinger line are rather good but so far I'm not 100% shure about it.

As soon as I have a more clear view of the 2 lines I will informe you.

Regards,
Richard
