Thank you for your suggestion. Yes, I have seen these family trees on Ancestry.com, but have not had success in reaching the authors of these particular trees (no email addresses were listed for them on Ancestor). I do have a rather extensive descendants list and believe that those people are pretty far down on it... much younger and creating their own connections to history using most of the same info I already have.
I was able to find the oldest living members of both the Post and Haseman families. They still live on the old homesteads in Minnesota and have shared an enormous amount of wonderful information with me about our lineage.
Reaching out to this list has been my attempt to reach back to Germany and see if we can find out more about our
families' origins and their lives there.

Hi Lynn,
there are three public family trees on ancestry.com with Maria Sophia Hasemann with same birth and burial dates.
Billadeau Family Tree, Gruis/Peterson FT, Jacobsen FT.
Did you contact these people already?
Place of birth is Hannover in these entries.
