Ports used by Germans

Thank you all. I really meant the Port of Stetten,as it wasn't a major port. Although I can see how I misled you with my question. The websites you sent, many thanks.

Could I retry also, with this question: Does the port in Emden have a website or any genealogical information?

Hello Jane!

Thank you all. I really meant the Port of Stetten,as it wasn't a
major port.

Search machines speak of 60 (sixty!) places in Germany called Stetten.
Please try yourself in any good Search.
I found several in the south of Germany, on the shores of lake Constance for
instance and Bavaria,
but no large river or seaports. But I looked at a fraction of Stettens only.

Although I can see how I misled you with my question.

The websites you sent, many thanks.

Could I retry also, with this question: Does the port in Emden have a
website or any genealogical information?

Emden is mentioned in Gen-Wiki, also if you put into Google or any search
machine "Genealogie in Emden" there is plenty to study there.

The town's website here:
