Does anyone know what the term "Plaug Dutch" means? I am not sure if this is even the correct spelling. I found it in an old letter talking about my ancestors.

I'm just guessing, as I'm in the process of
teaching myself German, but this sounds
similar to "Platt Deutsch", which I think
is a another form of German.
