Liebe Familienforscher,
wer kann bitte helfen? Da wir Probleme in der 4.2.3-svn mit der
Mitgliederverwaltung und Suche haben und einen Fehler beim Provider
ausschließen wollen, benötige ich die Systemvoraussetzungen insbesondere für
die Datenbank unter
Version 4.1.5 und
Version 4.2.3-svn.
Leider habe ich auf den Seiten von PGV keine Angaben gefunden. Wer kann
bitte helfen. Vielleicht können Veit bzw. weitere Nutzer der 4.2.3-svn hier
von ihren Erfahrungen zum gegenwärtigen Zeitpunkt mit der
Mitgliederverwaltung und Suchfunktion über alle Daten berichten?

die Voraussetzung stehen in der Readme.txt im Stammverzeichnis von pgv .
Für 4.2.3 ist es
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
PhpGedView requires a web server with at least PHP v5.2 and around 20MB of
web space. The default installations of PHP on most servers should provide
you with all of the PHP functionality you should need.
[VERY IMPORTANT]
You also need to install/enable PDO/mysql.
This is a standard part of PHP, and allows PHP to connect to databases.
PDO/mysql is a new requirement, effective from this version onwards.
It improves performance, fixes the sqlite compatibility issues,
and will allow a wider range of databases to be used.
Database
You will need at least 1 database and a username and password to access it.
PhpGedView primarily supports MySQL, but has also been tested and shown to
work with Postgresql, SQLite, and SQL-Server. The versions required for
each of these databases is outlined below:
MySQL 3.23+
PostgresQL 8.0+
SQLite available through PDO-SQLite which is included in PHP 5
MS SQL-Server 2003+
Web space
At least 20MB of web space on the web server. You will need more than this
if you intend to store multimedia linked to individuals.
Die 4.1 habe ich nicht mehr - wird aber ähnlich sein.
Also PHP ab 5.2; MySQL ab 3.23. Für 4.2 musst Du (oder Dein Provider) das php PDO Modul aktivieren / geladen haben. Ich nutze php 5.3.0 und MySQL 5.1.37 auf Windows 2008

Ich habe gerade nachgesehen und in der session.php steht MySQL 4.1 als Anforderung. Kann sein, dass die readme noch nicht aktualisiert ist.
