Please forgive me for writing in English. I know only a few words and phrases in Deutch.
I am searching for any information concerning Philipp Jacob Eschenfelder who came to America with his wife Anna Margaretha in 1742. Anna's family name is unknown. It may have been Buchheimer. Family researchers here in the US estimate that both Philipp and Anna were born about 1709-1716 somewhere in the Rheinhessen region.
Can anyone provide any data or suggest any other sources I may use? I have already contacted the Pfalzische Institut in Kaiserslautern, but they were of no help.
