There are not many people of that name living in Germany today.
Perhaps only 34 private entries listed in the German phone book.
I suggest that you write to the two people listed living in Rostock.

Keep your inquiry *very* brief and ask if they are related to your ancestor, just give his name and birth date
and year of migration.
If the recipient understand English and is unable to assist, perhaps you could then ask for the name of a
local historian, who may guide you with research on your family name.
It is not wise to use computer generated translators for personal letters or translating documents.
These are only useful for getting a general idea of the content of Internet webpages etc.
Only correspond in German if someone can compose a letter/ message on your behalf.
